Further Reducing the Number of Guests in store, Thursday 3/19 through Saturday 3/21
As concern over COVID-19 (coronavirus) continues to increase, we’ve decided to further limit the number of guests in store to ten (10) at one time. This step is intended to enable people to maintain a 6-foot distance between, as recommended by the CDC. Unfortunately, once there are ten (10) guests shopping, we won’t admit an arriving customer until a shopper exits. Obviously, we LOVE to have crowds in the store under ordinary circumstances, but we want to continue to do our part to help contain the spread of the virus.
Please be aware of the difficulty of retailing under this guest limit, and try to shop as efficiently as possible. Many people have been coming in lately for games, records, movies and reading material, in anticipation of possibly needing to “shelter in place.” We want to serve as many of you pop-culture fans each day as possible, while also giving everyone their “space.”
We’ll reevaluate the situation on Saturday based on the current official guidance, and announce any changes to our policies for Sunday 3/22 and going forward.
We truly appreciate the patience and understanding of our supporters as we try to do business in a way appropriate to this difficult situation!
