Fantasy and Comic Book Illustrator David Thorn Wenzel will be appearing at That's Entertainment tomorrow, Saturday, June 27th for an in-store signing during Free RPG Day! He will be offering free signatures from 11am to 4pm! He will also be selling beautiful prints of his artwork at his table! Guests will be able to request a free print to have signed by the artist! See the image below! David Wenzel is best know for his illustrations in JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit, but he also contributed artwork on Avengers and Savage Sword of Conan comics!

David is best known for his wonderful graphic novel adaptation of "The Hobbit." But did you know that his early career path in art led him to Marvel Comics as a penciler? From the mid-1970s to the early 1980s he worked on such Marvel titles as Avengers and Savage Sword of Conan. He penciled the concluding chapters of the famous Avengers "Korvac Saga" story arc which won a 1979 Eagle Award for Best Continued Story! WORCESTER – The city has selected 24 businesses for the first edition of an annual award honoring longtime establishments in Worcester.
The Legacy Business Award was awarded to businesses that the city said, in a statement, “help define the fabric of our neighborhoods, provide jobs and services, and embody the spirit of the city.”
Released June 18, the list included about a dozen food establishments, as well as clothing stores and workshops, all of which have been in business for about 70 years.While the city received 309 nominations, 62 of the businesses were deemed eligible for the award, the city said in a statement.The nominations were scored in partnership with the Museum of Worcester, Preservation Worcester and Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, the city said.A ceremony will be held for the businesses at an award ceremony later this summer, the city added.“Each of these businesses are iconic establishments that represent the best of Worcester,” said City Manager Eric D. Batista, in a statement. “I want to congratulate all of them on their longevity and ingenuity, which has allowed them to stay in business for generations."

In honor of this special event, the store will host a free signing featuring fantasy illustrator David Wenzel, give away free role-playing books and swag, and host free one-shot role-playing adventures.Free Role-playing books will be given out all day on a first-come, first-served basis from 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. while supplies last. Each attendee can select up to 5 FREE Role-playing books from a wide variety of exclusive FREE RPG Day books displayed in our store’s main event room, The Great Hall. Free RPGs and one-shot adventures are intended for ages teen and up.Accomplished fantasy illustrator David Wenzel will be signing books he’s illustrated at his table. Commemorative signatures will be free of charge, and attendees are welcome to bring their own copies to have them signed.
